Tiffany Dobson is an amazing teacher.
In all my time at a school I’ve never seen so many students express so much love for one staff member. Losing Mrs Dobson would be a big blow to CCHS not only on a staff but student level. Many students would be devastated at not only the loss of a teacher but a friend. And CCHS does not have the means to loose another valuable staff member.

My children are better for having known her love and support, and will have a seriously hard time without her there at the school. All the things she does would have to be filled in by at least 4 different people, and at this rate, you would be hard pressed to find anyone willing to work in such an environment.
My family will have four students enrolled at CCHS next year, and if this stands, we will be seriously looking at alternatives and will encourage others to do the same.

She has consistently stepped forward into roles that were needed while also being a mother figure to all. She provides us with food, care, encouragement, and love. It doesn’t matter what else she has going on, she will always stop to help you no matter what the problem may be. There is no other teacher who we would go to see everyday after school like we do for her. We have had her as a teacher for the past 6 years of our lives and no one has been more impactful. She is a role model to all, she is a dedicated worker in all that she does, she is a mother figure, and she is constantly going out of her way to help in every way she can.

Having a son with the fatal peanut/tree nut allergy is a scary thing, but I can tell you when he was in Mrs. Dobson’s classes for a few years I never had to worry. She would message me ingredients and was just as vigilant as any parent would be. She truly cares about every student. If she loses her job a lot of us will lose our faith in the Steubenville Catholic schools administration.

CCHS should be honored to have a woman who cares that deeply about a school, kids, parents, staff etc. She helped me back in the day with my fitness journey and it was about her helping me not how should could gain anything. She loves hard, she cares hard and she would do anything for anyone!!!! I hope and pray that they don’t loose this wonderful woman because of this. Fix it do better and stop being buttheart over someone helping our children!!! We need more people and teachers like Tiff!!!!

The younger of the two had a horrible teacher prior to having Mrs Dobson and Tiffany restored the love of learning and Catholic Central to her. The older has gone into being a vital role in Catholic Central athletics and receiving all state awards. From a Family who has brought multiple all state and OVAC awards to this school it pains to see how the establishment that we have loved and contributed to for multiple generations has treated a loved member of its faculty. We stand with Tiffany Dobson and will not stand for these actions.

She has been there for me in more ways than one no matter if she had me as a teacher or not. Not only is she always willing to be there and to help in any way she can, many students consider her room as a safe space. In a world of chaos that is high school and junior high the students need a safe space and need to know they have someone there for them and with Mrs. Dobson there we have that.

She is an outstanding teacher who goes above and beyond to help her students succeed. She’s also completing her PhD—how many Catholic high schools in our area can say they have a PhD candidate on staff? Tiffany is the embodiment of community. She volunteers and steps in wherever she is needed—from parent groups to chaperoning to coaching. She lives out her faith through her actions. Isn’t that what we are called to do? What are we teaching our students through our actions? As you know, our students observe everything, and actions speak far louder than words. Whether lay or ordained, Catholic educators and deacons share the mission of forming minds and hearts in Christ. Their work is not only academic—it’s spiritual, pastoral, and evangelistic.
We, the laity of the Church, have always been told to reach out to our pastors—our shepherds. Just as the disciples called out to Christ in the storm, many of us have felt we are calling out now, with no one to listen. If we cannot turn to our shepherds, where are we to go?
I think everyone of us needs to reach out via email or phone to the Catholic school chancellor or our individual pastors from our parishes. We cannot afford to lose another wonderful teacher at Catholic Central.

She always steps in to help not only students, but the faculty and teachers around her as well. She has been there for me when I have felt that no one else was. Her classroom is a place of safety, curiosity, and growth—a true reflection of her character.
Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Dobson invests in students' lives in countless ways. She has been a constant source of encouragement for our kids during cross country, showing up with genuine enthusiasm and care. She is warm, compassionate, and unfailingly kind to everyone she meets. Her ability to connect with students and families alike is a gift that cannot be easily replaced.
In addition to her teaching role, Mrs. Dobson serves our community tirelessly—volunteering at the local humane society and taking on the leadership role of Band Booster President. Her heart for service and her love for students are evident in everything she does.
Removing Mrs. Dobson from her role would be a profound loss—not just for our children, but for the culture and future of CCHS. We need more teachers like her—not fewer. We strongly urge decision-makers to reconsider and to recognize the invaluable contribution Mrs. Dobson makes to this school and to the lives of so many families.
