A Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Ned Nwoko is reportedly abusing his in-law Sammy Daniel a young man who only went to rescue his sister from domestic violence in the Senator’s home. I’m adding my voice to this petition because this is not just a family issue it’s bullying and a gross abuse of power. No one, regardless of position or title, should use authority to intimidate or harm others. We must call this out for what it is: abuse and injustice.

I am signing this petition because what this man has done is an abuse of power, morality, and basic human rights. A 65-year-old senator marrying a 20-year-old young woman already reflects a deep imbalance of power, but threatening and imprisoning her loved ones to force her back into a marriage she no longer consents to is nothing short of emotional and political manipulation. No one—regardless of their position or influence—should use authority to intimidate, control, or punish others for exercising their freedom. Such behavior is a disgrace to leadership and a violation of the very justice he swore to uphold. He must be held accountable so that no one else ever suffers from this kind of abuse.

Ned is forcing Regina into marriage and against her wishes. Ned locked up Regina’s brother up in a police station just because he speak up for his sister . That’s an abuse of power ,This is against the law and human rights . Hold Ned accountable if anything happens to Regina and her family.

Ned arresting Sammy is abuse of power. He should not use force to make his wife come back to him. If Regina is done with the marriage Ned doesn’t have the right to arrest her brother. Freesammy

This is heartbreaking and no one should ever have to lose a life in this way.

Far too many good officers are being thrown under the bus by some very vindictive half wits ,sitting within management levels. Normally one will find that the officers who are dismissed, are those that have integrity & can not be manipulated by top brass. There definitely needs to be some proper scrutiny of these investigations & dismissal processes . Also of the impact on officers physical & mental health. Police forces do not seem to care, nor keep records of just how many officers are committing suicide whilst under investigation ,or after they have been dismissed. Not every case is all that it seems. As I have been witness to a recent Employment Tribunal & was absolutely disgusted & appalled that most was based on fraudulent verbal & written reports. Now ask yourself, why on earth would so called witnesses all submit unsigned & undated Statements to the court?

Lorne, as one of your training Sgts early on in your career you were always polite, enthusiastic, hard working, honest and human- everything any decent police officer wants to see in a colleague and more importantly what the vast majority of the public wants in a police officer. I only ever heard the same as your career continued and nothing I have seen or heard over the last few days has changed that. I hope you can see the support for you from the people whose opinion of you is the only one that really matters- the tax paying, law abiding people of Dorset (and the wider UK) and everyone in our county and country who are vulnerable or turns to the police to protect them or their loved ones from harm or violence when the moment comes. I wish you and your family well for the future.

I have faced machete incidents alone three times in my service, sword incident and knife incidents, no stab vest, no taser, no defence other than a pair of handcuffs, in that moment all you are worried about is saving your life and others, potential to not go home that day. You don’t stop to think ‘please would you kindly put the weapon down, the first thought is protection of yourself, the scene and whoever might be nearby. It calls for robust action. It calls for bosses to back you up, not criticism from and armchair after the event (which I too experienced). You have to get control of the situation, act quick, and make it clear you are in control. Before you get killed or mamed. Shame on the service that have not supported Lorne.
