The Democratic National Committee (DNC) plays a crucial role in shaping the platform and direction of the Democratic Party in the United States. Recent events and trends have highlighted the need for grassroots voices to influence party decisions and push for progressive policies.
Key issues and themes in DNC-related petitions include calls for transparency in the nomination process, demands for more diverse representation within the party leadership, and efforts to hold elected officials accountable for their actions. Notable petitions have gained traction for supporting Medicare for All, advocating for environmental justice, and pushing for criminal justice reform.
Join the movement to make your voice heard within the Democratic Party and promote policies that align with your values. Your support can help shape the future of the party and drive meaningful change in our communities.
Can you tell DNC that if they make it impossible for a 3rd party to succeed, then they owe us candidates to vote for. Every office on my ballot from State Comgressmen down to dog catcher were all unopposed Republicans. Ohio Democrats are being held hostage by Republicans refusing to follow anti-gerrymandering ammendment to our constitution and by the Democrats who just shrugged and left us to these monsters! We deserve to be able to vote for someone from BOTH parties and the DNC should be required to run someone in every race.
I’m a lifelong Democrat and I’ve never been more ashamed to say than I have been watching the fecklessness with which elected Democrats have met this moment. You are capitulating to fascism. We need strong reformers like David Hogg to help rebuild our party with leaders who will fight for democracy, not corporate interests.
Restricting our teens is not my mission here but it’s a matter of enjoying our city without causing absolute chaos and even crime. Safety in the area has become a very serious concern and in my experience, has been getting worse each year. I ask for something to be done to support all residents of the area. Thank you!
I am a Chicago resident and many people are afraid to be out and about in the evenings in downtown Chicago because they feel unsafe. A curfew is one important step in providing a sense of safety. It is critical to restoring a vibrant downtown and a much-needed tax base for our city.
Hello. I have been a resident of both River North and Streeterville for over 40 years. I have never seen anything like this and it saddens and angers me deeply. Our lovely downtown area has turned into a cesspool and crime ridden area. I have lived downtown and paid the difference in property taxes to be safe. Downtown is one of the highest property tax areas. This is surely uncalled for and ask the mayor of our once beautiful Streeterville to adher to this curfew for these violent teens.
I have lived in Streeterville and River North for over 40 years and the last 5 years have seen a drastic change in the appearance and safety of this community. Our community is one of the highest property tax district in the city and my hard earned cash to pay to be safe. That is not happening with these teen takeovers recently. We need this to stop and we need your help to make it stop with a curfew.
Mayor Johnson. Talk does nothing - you must take some action. No matter the situation, bad actions require consequences, not excuses. Any parent knows that. If you care about the youth as you say you do, you would provide tough love and help them learn proper behavior, not just constantly excuse poor behavior that continues to escalate.
We must do more to protect our family and community. As a parent, I won’t forget the shooting on Sunday night that injured a tourist and will traumatize her son for life.
We love this neighborhood but are terrorized by crime and teen takeovers.
Residents will start moving out, the tourists will slowly stop coming and workers will be too scared to do their jobs.
We need to feel safe to exit our building and enjoy this beautiful neighborhood after 4 pm before craziness starts.
I’ve lived in Streeterville for over 20 years and am distressed by the changes that have taken place. Residents should not have to wait for tragedy for something to be done. Please help us to be safe in our own community.
