From personal experience and the victim of an horrific car accident on my way home from work in August 2024, the WorkCover system in Queensland is degrading and appalling to the point of soul crushing. I have been questioned about my injuries at every turn as if I faked them. This happened for months until a formal complaint was made by my son to the CEO of WorkCover Qld, Mr. Michael Pennisi about the vile an and unprofessional actions of his staff and my case was transferred to an external consultant who is extremely helpful and understanding.

Australia needs young people and especially those already have reciprocal health cover. It is morally wrong to deport those who have illness because Australia has the ability and the means to help them here.

I am personally struggling with becoming a person with disability. It's shocking to me to see that someone as wonderful as Jess would be discriminated against based on their disability. Jess's condition is excellently managed, and people with MS live and work and contribute to Australian society; so when considering that Jess has worked, and continues to work, for almost a decade in Australia: this decision is unconscionable. Australia is issuing a broad disability ban, and it says to people living in Australia with a disability that we are worth less as human beings. This visa must be approved!

I'm signing this petition because anyone can be healthy one day and facing illness the next. Jess deserves the chance to stay. With the right support, MS can be successfully managed, and I’m confident she will be a valuable asset to Australia. Let’s help Jess overcome the challenges of MS so she can build a happy, healthy life here together with her partner Rob. Wishing you all the best, guys! Hope common sense will prevail.

I use this station most days. A lot of the pathways around the station are barely walkable. As a young person, I find it’s a workout just getting to one platform from the street- let alone interchanging at this station to different platforms. The lack of access points to platforms by itself, for such a highly used station, is very wild. Very congested pedestrian space trying to walk up the ramps when a train full of people just get off and are going down the ramps.
