There have been glaring issues with nearly every hairstyle for black characters and so little have been fixed or updated. Many have existed in their current state for YEARS with devs ignoring complaints from black players. It’s about time change is made and the devs put in more meaningful attempts for respect and care for black people’s hair.
We waited so long for different aspects of the game to be fixed, to the point where we're learning how to do it ourselves. Please hire more people, like Lillie, who have necessary suggestions to properly represent cultures and improve the quality of the game. DO BETTER BHVR!!!
It's genuinely frustrating for as long as I've played DBD, POC hair especially have almost always ended up buggy and wrong, going long times without any fixing or adjusting, but there could be one bug with a White Survivor's hair (Meg's braid from the last tome) that gets fixed immediately. It makes no sense and BHVR need to be a lot better about the execution of these different hair styles because at this point, it still feels as though they don't really care.
it's been unbelievable how 9 years have passed and there has been little to no improvement in the stylization of black characters' hairstyles, appearances and so on and a lack of an attempt to do it. lillie has done multiple fixes, adjustments and touch-ups within the span of days while BHVR hasn't done much themselves and has let years go by which resulted in the neglect of black characters and i think this should go on no longer when they've got a fanbase who only wishes to see themselves properly represented.
