The Dead by Daylight and Five Nights at Freddy's Communities have been wanting a crossover for Multiple years now. But by the looks of it, Scott Cawthon chooses even after years to stay radio silent about this VERY SERIOUS matter. Both communities are longing for this Crossover of both Universes.

If Dead by Daylight were to get an FNAF Update, both communities would start to communicate more with each other. This means, a lot more players would join the Dead by Daylight Universe for the first time, who maybe have never heard of said game, or players that would be HEAVILY happy with after years of fighting, finally getting what they desired most. If Dead by Daylight x FNAF would never happen, then nothing changes. People would still want the Update, simply because a lot of Characters from the FNAF Universe could fit a perfect killer role. Not only that, depending on what the killer would be, Skins would be no issue. There are tons of Characters that could be a whole different cosmetic. From all 9 Games of Five Nights at Freddy's, there are so many things that could be added, such as skins, charms, cards, basically anything. If Chucky was possible in DBD then so is FNAF.

The FNAF Universe has been adding Movie adaptions, new book adaptions, and new games like the recently released FNAF: Help Wanted 2. Looking at Dead by Daylights DLCs for licensed Characters, they are all from Movies. FNAF is getting its Second Movie in December of 2025, with a confirmed Third one to follow. It is very likely that even after the first 3, they will be making more adaptations. This is the perfect time, as the First Movie, brought a lot of new people into the FNAF Fandom, people who were not fans before. With a Second and Third adaptation to follow, there is no doubt that the Community will keep growing more and more. Said new people will dive deeper into the connections the FNAF Fandom has made over the years, which would bring a lot of people to the long-awaited Dead by Daylight DLC. There are multiple Fan-made concepts on basically any Content creation platform, showing time and time again that an FNAF Chapter would be a perfect fit for both games. By the looks of it, it can only be beneficial to both Games and Communities, as both would grow together a lot. PLEASE DBD X FNAF, MAKE IT HAPPEN.
