Omar deserves more than me. I’ve been watching their daily vlogs online for a couple months, and sharing their honest reports. I’m begging with all my heart that you can look past his skin and his nationality and see a young man eager to learn, and ready to give back to his community. Omar is the future of Palestine; he is a living vessel of his family’s hopes and dreams. He’s still a brilliant and selfless young man with big dreams, what makes him less worthy of a good life than anyone else? Any Palestinian or immigrant knows that coming into the USA you have to work 10 times as hard simply because you’re different. So please sacrifice less than a minute of your time to do something good and make life a little easier on him. With what happened last year the chaos stopped many Palestinian children including Omar from going to school this may be his final chance at a proper education. He’s seen enough of his family and friends dying, his homeland being destroyed around him. The mere thought of having to constantly live in fear saying goodnight to your family not knowing if you’ll live to see the next morning, is enough to drive someone insane. I’m urging you to please help in any way you can. We in the USA are more privileged than Omar, yet he is more deserving.
