Having walked the common and surrounding mountains for many years I know there is an abundance of wildlife that will be impacted, in recent years I have began to see nightjars and they seem to be increasing in numbers.

It ruins the countryside .In this area we need tourists for income .This area will deteriorate with pylons running through the tweed Valley .Visitors .Walkers, ,mountain bikers . Fishing enthusiasts .bird watchers for the Ospreys and Eagles and many more activities Enjoy their time here .Its special..This is an area of outstanding beauty don’t ruin it . We should not be desecrating our beautiful landscapes, to create wealth for companies whose sole aim is maintaining their profitability whilst caring nothing for the local communities which suffer as a consequence. This headlong rush to net zero, without thought or care for the consequences to our natural environment has got to stop.
