I have used a Library since the young age of 5, when my family were not in a position to buy books. What a wonderful places my Library was to me growing up. To this time in my life a Library have always been a welcoming places to find comfort in a book. You are never a lone with a book to read, to discover wonderful new characters, lands, hobbies, music, recipes, events, and most of all to keep learning. To keep ones mind active, one's well being. The only true value we receive for being a Rate payer, is a Library big or small it serves the Communities well.

I have in the past supported families through Homestart and seen the neglect and experienced the contempt and dishonesty of some of these agencies. Unacceptable that property is in poor condition and is let via councils who are paying for this 'service'

I really care about your issue because I live in a Southern Housing property for the past 18 months. I know Southern Housing to be crooks, liars, bullies and thieves. I moved into an uninhabitable property, was assured they'd help me pay to put it right and did nothing. I am £17,000 out of pocket, in debt, when at 65, I have never been in debt in my life. I have cancer and I know that the stress they have forced on me has increased my cancer protein count. I am still trying to fight them. I have never been so unhappy in my life and had to tolerate such evil landlords. All Southern Housing care about is their shareholders and treat their tenants like prisoners and worse.

"As a social justice advocate and campaigner, I stand firmly in solidarity with the Richmond mother and her children. This case is a devastating example of how Britain’s housing, welfare, and legal systems are failing the very people they are supposed to protect — and disproportionately failing disabled families and ethnic minorities. The unlawful eviction under Section 21, the denial of education, and the systemic delays amount to a clear breach of human rights, disability rights, and racial equality obligations. We cannot call ourselves a just society while vulnerable families are forced into homelessness, denied education, and left without recourse. I call on Keir Starmer’s Labour Government to abolish Section 21 urgently, and for the PHSO to conduct a full and transparent investigation into Richmond Council, RHP, and Achieving for Children. We need a system that delivers justice for all, not just for those who can afford it. Justice delayed is rights denied — and we will not be silent. We demand accountability. We demand reform. We demand justice now." #JusticeForRichmondMother #SocialJustice #DisabilityRights #EndSection21 #SystemicInjustice #AquayemiClaudeAkinsanya

These kids didn’t ask to be brought into the world so we as adults should hold accountability and take care of them

When I started my menopause, I felt alone, I wanted to end my marriage, and I lost my zest for life. I am a social butterfly and now looking back I feel the menopause stripped me of that. It became harder to leave my home, even the small things like talking to people became a real effort, it was only when I started volunteering at Russells Equestrian Centre, that I began to feel a sense of peace and well-being again. This was down to the horses and their gentleness and the support from everyone at the yard, having this time away from normal day to day life and doing something else with the people who are passionate about horses as I am really helped me to find me again. It was the best therapy and still is the best therapy. My time was rough, without Russells and The Epona Trust and all the horses and people at the yard I honestly don’t know where I would be now. I honestly don’t think I would be here today! Horses are not just for riding; they are therapy! Being around them, they can give so much back. I spent two glorious summers in the 1980’s with Carol on riding holidays out in the New Forest. We spent two weeks in a huge marquee in a field along with the horses. I learnt to ride at her stables and I have fond memories of Carol and her two young daughters. I hope a compromise can be reached to allow this wonderful business to continue.

I’m concerned as we already have the 2 large wheelie recycling bins and use them religiously yet 2 weeks and our waste bin is full to bursting. We have 2 children, one of which is in nappies and a house cat. So the smell at the end of 2 weeks in hot weather is gross! We also paid for the bigger recycling bins and aren’t going to be refunded yet are paying an increased council tax to give everyone these bins for FREE. It’s a total joke. Wanting more money off people who are already struggling to get by to do less work!!!!

My area already has a big problem with fly tipping household waste and massive rat problem. going to a 3 weekly collection will only make it worse. Rats and mice don't only go looking for food, they also want shelter, plastic and paper to build nests. we need these new reycleing bins ASAP and i think it should be no more than 2 weeks between collections
