Against putting an camp ground In our neighborhood. Pioneer Plantation is already go downhill with week enders. Our beautiful community was sparkling qith pride during Covid. Fixing. Building. Cleaning. This past year it has become A JUNK YARD. Cars, trucks,
boats, RV allnin front yards for sale ir worse. People earning money by renting out RV. NO TOILETS. NO SEWAGE. So can you imagine if GAMOLING was allowed. Blows my mind. Damage to the wildlife has already happened with sewage and junk. Imagine Additional. traffic. Most importantly, unwanted crime. Who will monitor this mess.
I care about this issue because I miss this man who is supposed to be my dad. I can never fully rekindle our relationship that we try to build because I can not see him. He will not see me competing at NCA cheer in daytona or see me graduate college next year with my bachelor’s degree. he will nvr get to see me buy my first place. he can’t help me find my place. i can never call him because i just need him. i can’t call him when i have car troubles. i can experience a daughter and father relationship. we can never build a bond if it’s too late in life.
I am writing to express my strong support for HB 2367 and urge you to advocate for its passage. This bill is critical in addressing sentencing disparities and promoting rehabilitation for incarcerated individuals. Many, including my fiancé Tyrece Coleman, have been overcharged, wrongfully convicted, and denied fair legal representation—issues this bill aims to correct.
Additionally, I must highlight the mistreatment at Lawrence Correctional Facility. Guards intimidate inmates, confiscate medical devices without cause, and interfere with their communication with loved ones. Despite receiving $76,218 per inmate, the facility remains understaffed, leaving prisoners locked in their cells for days. Essential programs are denied, and medical neglect is rampant. My fiancé, who has a documented learning disability, has been stripped of his education, work, and basic rights after being forced into an unfair plea deal.
Passing HB 2367 is not just about justice; it’s about ensuring humane conditions and meaningful opportunities for rehabilitation. I urge you to stand behind this bill and push for change.
Thank you for your time and support.
Sincerely,
Sharia Kennedy
I have a loved one that has not been in trouble for the time he has been locked up. He has taken everything he could to get help and better himself, yet we have laws keeping him stuck. Idoc needs to help with people that are willing to do their time and better themselves in the process. I tired of seeing my loved one treated like a thing, not a human.
The potential impacts on traffic, wildlife, and public lands are significant and could negatively affect our community’s quality of life. Additionally, the lack of sufficient workforce housing in this development undermines its potential benefits. It’s crucial that any proposed land use change aligns with the character and needs of our community while preserving the natural beauty and resources we all value. I hope the decision-makers take these valid concerns into account and prioritize sustainable, community-centered development
I am a retired Healthcare professional. The mission of this company is admirable but their approach is flawed. The client staff ratio is very understaffed, it doesn't appear they require much training or experience from those they hire, nowhere could I find information about the qualifications of a professional staffand/or whether they are on site. I have serious questions about a program of this size in the middle of our Village being run this way. Pleased not let this go forward.
I signed this petition because losing Hawai‘i’s film tax incentives would have devastating effects on our local economy, much like the catastrophic impact of losing honeybees on agriculture. The film industry sustains thousands of jobs, supports local businesses, and brings vital revenue to our state. Without these incentives, productions will leave, and our communities will feel the sting, just like ecosystems collapsing without bees. We must act now to protect this vital industry for future generations!
