I support the immediate ceasefire of the military attacks on Gaza. Israel’s military attacks on Gaza constitute Genocide. Everyday all of us in the free world see the violence, trauma and horror of the surviving children, women and men of Gaza. To our own governments please create sanctions against Israel. For every action there is an equal and opposite action. Now Jewish people all around the world are at far greater risk because of Israel’s military actions and the consequent devastation of Gaza.

I care about this issue because the genocide of millions and millions of innocent people is utterly heartbreaking to me. Civilians should not have to worry about their safety, have their hospitals bombed, and have their children killed. Medics killed in cold blood doing their civic duty is sickening. Shelling babies and striking areas where children are taking refuge is shameful. We as free people can not stand by and watch this disgrace any longer. If we do are we even human anymore? We are failing these people, allowing an entire genocide to occur right in front of us. Does Palestine believe in the good of people anymore? Would you believe in humanity if people watched you suffer, watched everyone you know suffer? Watched babies bleed out on hospital floors? I couldn’t imagine their hopelessness. We are human, we need to act like humans and ceasefire now. We are better than this as a species. We as a species knows where this leads without interference. Palestine deserves better. These people deserve to live. Their blood is on our hands
