When I was little I was sexually assaulted and abused by my then stepdad at the time. I had no one to protect me, my mom knew but did nothing about it. Reading their story about what they did and they did it to save their little sister, just made me incredibly sad. I wish I had older brothers who protected me like this when I was little. But I didn’t. Now I’m 26 in therapy trying to heal myself. They just saved so much pain and trauma for their little sister. These boys should not be locked up. They should be at home with their little sister. They are hero’s not criminals.
