I resent the attempt to dump toxic fire debris in a landfill intended for residential refuse. The friable particulate matter that accompanies the fire ash are loaded with asbestos that will contaminate the lungs of humans and animals for years to come. U.S. taxpayers will be forced to pay for tyhe clean up after it gets declared a Superfund site, not to mention the cost of funding an LA Victims Recovery Fund like the one set up after 9/11. The September 11 Victims Recovery Fund is costing U.S. taxpayers $16.5 Billion as of today.

Hi, my name is Isabel Landas. I have lived in America my entire life. The way that our country is poisoning our people is devastating. Being taught as a little girl that America was a big family and we fight anything that hurts our family. Dumping these debris in Calabasas will ruin the lives of Americans. Their health, their safe homes, and the future of their lives and land. Do not do this. No American wants this. Do better

I have family that live beside the landfill and I am very concerned for their health.

This is absolutely appalling! To put people of the community at risk of being in contact with toxic waste pollutants is flat out negligible leadership. As a mother of a child under two, who lives in very close proximity to this landfill, I am deeply concerned for our community and the potential impact this could have.

It’s beyond harmful to throw all that toxic waste near schools of innocent children let’s please reconsider putting that toxic debris somewhere else please for the sake of humanity so many have gone through so much trauma already

My family lives in Saratoga just below the landfill… we are worried for the young kids in our neighborhood and the long terms affects on them from this debri.

It's unacceptable to allow our community, especially children at school, to continually pay the price for these fires by inhaling ash from the calabasas dump for years to come.

I don't live in or near Calabasas, in fact I live about 6 hours away from that area. Regardless, even though this doesn't directly impact me, thousands of people live in that city and all of them are equally deserving of growing up and living in a clean, healthy area. The fact that they'd even consider dumping toxic chemicals and ash in a RESIDENTIAL landfill is disturbing, this would drive many people out of their homes or out of their lives. Uprooting everything you've worked for, leaving behind your home, your neighbors, friends, family, it's tragic. No one should have to go through it
