Maybe I could have avoided a unilateral mastectomy, reconstructive surgery, radiation, infections, hyperbaric chamber visits due to tissue's inability to heal, which finally led to a DIEP flap and multiple reconstructions. I was lucky compared to many but still drained 2 years of my life.
Cancer treatments should be about finding the best solution for the patient, not lining the pockets of big pharma and the healthcare system.

I may not have much experience with this, but that doesn't stop me from caring about other people, and about my future as someone with breasts. This can help prevent so much suffering, if you let it.
