I’m so incredibly grateful to each of you who has signed and shared the petition to lower the national mammogram screening age to 35. Your support is helping turn my personal story into a movement for change.
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 37. My mom was diagnosed in her 40s. Neither of us had the BRCA gene. Early screening at 35 helped catch my cancer—and I believe it saved my life.
Now, with 150 signatures, we’re building real momentum. But this is just the beginning. 💥
Here’s what I’m doing next:
✉️ I’ll be writing letters to lawmakers—both at the state and national level—sharing my story and urging them to support legislation that lowers the recommended screening age.
🏛️ I’m also reaching out to local health leaders, advocacy groups, and medical professionals to raise awareness and ask for their support.
📢 And I’ll continue to share this message on social media and in my community to keep the conversation going.
👉🏼 You can still help!
Keep sharing the petition with your friends, family, coworkers, and communities.
If you know a healthcare provider or policymaker who might support this cause, I’d love an introduction.
And most of all—stay in this with me. Change takes a village!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with me. Let’s keep pushing forward—for earlier detection, for more answers, and for lives saved. 💓
