I have lived in Palm Beach County for over 30 years. The intercoastal waterway should be enjoyed by all. Access to the ocean is limited to a few inlets in Palm Beach County. Without the West Palm club, how can we enjoy Peanut Island or access the inlet to enjoy the ocean? I enjoy fishing and boating in Palm Beach, but do not own my own boat. I do belong to a great boat club. I bring friends, relatives and neighbors to the downtown location you want to close. We often go out to lunch or dinner depending on the time of day and support our local economy. There should be a way to work together and come up with a viable solution that meets the needs of everyone.
My family have always wanted to go out on the ocean. I am disabled and my incomes low. But I wanted to give my wife and child their dream of a day at sea. We got to visit an island and fish with Jet aride. Their prices are awesome. Employees well trained and respectful. Places like this make it easy for people like me to be able to afford memories with my family. To lose them would be a loss for many people of the community. West palm should be ashamed of trying to do this.
Been a jetride member since 2019, with wpb as my primary dock location. I would rather have a member based, local friendly club at this dock than more 1-off tourist attractions, which is what I’m sure they’ll use the space for if they lose JetRide
It’s seems everywhere you look there’s a new residential building going up downtown, more and more people are moving to this city. It seems many city officials have forgotten one of the biggest selling points of living here in South East Florida. That’s the access to beautiful water, beaches and outdoor activities. We are fortunate enough to have JetRide navigate the first location in this growing city and now you want to take it away!
