Il-Bajja hija ta’ Kulħadd - The beach is for everyone

Hi everyone-
We are almost at 2000 signatures already! Thank you to all who have signed, and joined us in standing up for our coastline.
This topic has been extremely relevant this week. We've seen a video from Christopher Deguara (the mayor of Naxxar, and who represents Bahar Ic-Caghaq) addressing this very topic. Furthermore, Lovin Malta independently have run a poll, and out of more than 3,100 votes, 2,700 people said “yes”, while 443 voted “no”.
Of the voting sample, almost 90% of the voters agree with us on this topic . There's real momentum here, and I believe now is the right time to bring meaningful and lasting change to how our coastlines look, and to enforcing the RV situation that is so abundant in Malta. Not just in Bahar Ic-Caghaq, but across Malta.
We are tired of the 'Min ħexa mexa' mindset.
If you want to continue supporting, please continue sharing. The more signatures we get here, the more we show the strength of this movement.
Furthermore, there will be a 2km family community trial hike that will take place as a form of protest, on the 11th of July 2026 between 8:30 and 10:30am. More details on this as they become available, but keep your eyes out to local news outlets as well
