My daughter and I made precious memories here together. We need this place to make horses accessible for Bay Area residents and families like us. Please keep Bear Creek Stable.

My Son and his Fiancé have used Bear Creek Stables for years. It has been a sanctuary for not only their beautiful horse but for the mental and physical release of a very busy life. We need to protect these gems. I too have visited and enjoyed the surrounding trails.

With housing and land prices skyrocketing, public open spaces become the only option to preserve the traditions of riding and horsemanship. The bay area has lost many boarding places in the last 10 years and horses are being squeezed out of the peninsula, or becoming restricted to the elite land holders. Open Bear Creek stables to the public again and give the next generation the chance to connect with livestock.

My sister took both our kids to the equestrian center throughout their childhood. They have great memories of fun and learning. They are all grown now, and we are now taking our grandchildren. This is an important part of their young lives, that they would not have access to if it were cliosed.

There aren’t many places in the area to see animals and this place is loved and enjoyed by many families and kids. It’s a staple in Lakewood/LB. Additionally, the animals should be able to keep their home. Please don’t get rid of it!!
