The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement addresses systemic racism, police brutality, and social injustice affecting Black communities globally. Recent events, like the murder of George Floyd, sparked widespread protests and renewed calls for racial equality and police reform. Petitions under this topic advocate for police accountability, ending racial profiling, and reforming the criminal justice system.
One petition with over a million signatures demands justice for Breonna Taylor, a Black woman killed by police during a botched raid. Another petition highlights disparities in healthcare access for Black communities, calling for equitable treatment and resources.
Join the movement by exploring the petitions and taking action to support racial justice. Your involvement can drive meaningful change and help create a more equitable society for all.
The land is no ones to own, or to abuse. The indigenous peoples, who have been confined to this place against their will, deserve at the very least the rights to protect the land they have been left with. Water is life, when the last drop turns to acid, will it be only then that people realize what they are doing to our planet, and ourselves?
Dear Chairman Sen. Manchin and Ranking Member Sen. Barrasso of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee,
I oppose the Pilot Butte Conveyance Act. This act is a taking of Tribal Treaty lands within the Wind River Indian Reservation. The Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho Tribes have been working for decades to repatriate this landscape.
There was no Tribal consultation in crafting this bill. Please respect Tribal sovereignty and stop this legislation!
I stand with the 1,056 supporters advocating for justice for Trevontay Jenkins. This issue matters to me because it highlights the urgent need for accountability and justice in our communities. Everyone deserves to feel safe and valued, and when injustices occur, it impacts us all. By supporting Trevontay and his family, we can push for necessary changes that benefit everyone.
Let’s unite our voices and make an impact!
I care about the Kendrick Johnson case because it highlights serious issues of justice and fairness. The circumstances surrounding his death remain suspicious, and it’s deeply concerning that many questions are still unanswered. Kendrick was a young life lost, and the investigation into his death seems to have been mishandled, leaving his family and the public without the closure they deserve. This case is important to me because it reflects broader concerns about accountability, transparency, and racial disparities in how investigations are conducted. Everyone deserves the truth, and I want to raise awareness so that the case doesn’t fade into silence without proper resolution.
We need our rights, we need to have the medical supplies we need to transition and be ourselves, not fair watching everyone around me to de-transition about the point I'm going to have to because we're gonna get killed and harassed
I’m a second generation Indian American college student that is deeply disappointed by the current news regarding immigrant policies that have gotten way out of hand. This violence against marginalized groups has to stop and the only way we can do that is by using our voice and freedom of speech. We cannot have that taken away from us.
I am watching my friends cry and live in fear. Their lives have been thrown upside down and fear for ICE will sweep them away from their families and their lives they have worked so hard to build PEACEFULLY. These people are good people and shouldn’t be decided as any other way.
