Victories in Black History

I as a female veteran am absolutely ashamed of this action! We served along our fellow Americans and sacrificed everything to protect our nation and the constitution. It doesn’t matter if we are women, black, brown. There is no race in the military, but the human race!!!! Do the honorable and what is right and reinstate their names and honor they deserve for serving their country!

As a Veteran of the US Army, who also is a woman, I am appalled that this would be happening. They need to be stopped from erasing us!

What is happening to the Hardys and The Black Lady Theatre is a travesty. Sadly they're not alone. Deed Theft and Deed Scam is a pernicious financial epidemic brought upon our communities of color by unscrupulous shady characters, compromised elected officials and a corrupt court system. Like Mr. O'hara stated, if THEY can get away with doing something so brazen to a judge, then THEY can do it to anyone. We must never allow this to keep going on.

I’ve gone to the PAC for 4 years now. Without it and the coaches who taught me I wouldn’t be the player I am today. It must be saved.

I love Portland Athletic Club! I’ve played here since I was 5 years old and it’s really important to me and my family, along with so many other people. Please keep it open!! 🎾

Tennis is known to be a ‘sport of a lifetime’, and for 15+ years at many of the Portland Public Parks I ran short tennis camp for youth from all backgrounds. Having Black tennis leaders in our Portland community help expand this fantastic sport and truth be told that the sport teaches many life lessons allowing them to grow up as positive role models and leaders in the community. Please save this club and its leadership!

I am the owners eldest granddaughter. I have worked at PAC on and off since I as 14. I want my grandfathers legacy to be remembered for who he was and what he has done for this community. The conservator should sell to a Family member or community member. We are prepared to fight for tennis, the legacy and the community here.

My name is Siamak Hajarizadeh. I am a tennis professional at the PAC. I have been blessed to be part of this iconic club. In the past year I have seen this club flourish. The management has been a joy to work with because they have a true passion for our life long sport of tennis. The management has hired world class tennis professionals and more importantly fantastic mentors to up and coming junior players. The PAC also services to so many tennis fans from all over the metropolitan area. The closing of Portland Athletic Club would be a great loss to our community.
