As a Woman with Asperger’s, I’m really sick and tired of seeing abilists like Sia, exploit those of Us; who are on the Autism Spectrum, for entertainment. No matter, how “positive and inspirational “, her project was supposed to be. Because not only was the actress, who the played the main character; neurotypical. But obviously, she didn’t seek out, the advice or consult with anyone; who’s actually autistic. Thus, Sia shouldn’t have been rewarded; with a nomination.
