As an educator for children diagnosed with Autism, it is important to understand that they lack safety awareness. Any danger that seems obvious for another person, feels just as comfortable and “normal” as them playing with their favorite toy. Please make change, please enforce laws to protect these sweet babies. Parents who truly love and care for their children with ASD need help. Accidents happen but as a community we can help prevent accidents from turn into tragedies.

Some do it out of fear, some do it because it helps their sensory need, and some do it to explore. People need to educate themselves more on ASD to help our children feel understood in this world instead of pointing fingers and judging parents who raise children with autism. The NVG hobby is growing and this move will price out many potential customers or drive them to competitors. Had I not been able to buy tubes separately on the commercial market, I would have been one of those.

As a former ABA teacher, I have seen these kits work in real time for clients and students whom would agree movie theaters are more of a stress than a joy. They are effective items and allows many more people access to enjoying the big screen.
