I've supported Arsenal since I was a kid, as it was always the club of tradition and good values. I wish for Arsenal to not stray from this path in this current age where voices are being silenced for political gain.
In the famous words of the legend Dennis Bergkamp "When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history; you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong"
30 years I found myself at this great club. The love & attatchment I have for it is unexplainable. However, after how they treated Mark for speaking out for humanity, against apartheid, against genocide...Its a disgrace! Its no longer a club I want to support or follow.
I never thought id say this, I hope the worse for Arsenal.
Palestinians deserve to live & live free, and speaking up on their behalf to call for justice, to call for an end to the active genocide we have been watching live on our screens for 19 months should not be a sackable offence. Arsenal has done the wrong thing by dismissing Mark, and I call on them to correct it and do the right thing by reinstating him.
I love this club not for its players or achievements but for what it stands for. Seeing someone from the Arsenal family sacked for calling out an injustice is disappointing to say the least. Don’t let this be a stain in this clubs progressive history.
