Why are our board members making sweetheart deals with multi-billion dollar corporations behind our (the taxpayer's) backs?
I'm a survivor of seminary. By going to release time classes, students are giving up an elective -- something that might truly bring them joy. They'll be sitting in a mind-numbingly boring religious class rather than participating in choir or drama to taking an art class. Seminary is available online. There's no reason they have to take an in-person class.
Let our public schools stay a haven free from religion.
These cops should be fired. This gentleman should sue for more than 3.5 million. The case should go the jury. City should be sued as well for more money for hiring dirty cops who are racists and incompetent. Police departments need to start training their staff on how to deal with people with disabilities. As a person with a disability I’m not able to get on the ground, nor am I able to get back up. I also can’t put my arms behind my back. These type of police officers would break so many bones in my body if they did that to me. For god sake take some sensitivity classes from a organization that deals with disabilities.
Stop procrastinating on this issue for DECADES indigenous women have been abused. What if it was YOUR daughter sister cousin!!! Just think about that a moment your loved one is missing and no one helps you
Native American people matter so very much to me. Their cultures, their ways of life, their history. The way that they have been mistreated is pure evil, sick and disgusting. I am part Cherokee and Chippewa at least this is our guess because the truth has been hidden in this country and so many native people have had their cultures, languages, beliefs and their spirits taken away. It’s disgusting that natives have been and still are treated like they are trash!!!! I am furious about the injustice, abuse and evil genocide done to these beautiful and amazing indigenous people not only in the USA but in other countries as well. It’s past time for a change!!!!
Debbie Lesko lived down the street. She communicated from the time she served on the school board. Abe didn't have the respect to live in the District he represents. I don't care if it is "legal", it's more important to be ethical. You lack character, Abe. My vote is wasted and abused. I would like to know WHY you wanted to represent US.
Your reversal on this issue feels not only disheartening but also uninformed and lacking in courage.
Trans youth already face staggering rates of discrimination and isolation. As a leader, you have a responsibility to protect vulnerable communities—not single them out for exclusion. Telling young people to “find something else to do” sends a harmful message that they don’t belong.
Please reconsider your position. Inclusion and equity shouldn’t be negotiable.
As someone who lives in Arizona and has experienced firsthand the breathtaking biodiversity hidden within our forests, I fully support recognizing Boletus barrowsii as our official state mushroom. It’s a species that reflects the quiet abundance of Arizona’s sky islands — surprising, resilient, and deeply rooted in our unique ecosystems. This designation would not only honor a mushroom native to our soil, but also promote science education, conservation, and appreciation for the hidden richness of our natural world.
I have two children on the spectrum and I am terrified that she would be harmed because she is aggressive. Kids who are aggressive on the spectrum tend to be more abused than those who are not .
