I have shared my life with parrots They are intelligent creatures who are not fully domesticated like cats and dogs. This bird deserves so much more and this situation is not at all adequate. My prayers that help will come before it is too late and the person keeping him in this manner needs to be educated so it doesn't happen again.

Keeping a tropical parrot in open elements during cold Winter season can be fatal or cause sickness! And the small cage is not appropriate for a large parrot as they need mobility! I urge authorities in Netherlands to take this matter seriously and expedite a rescue of this suffering bird. It is obvious that the owner is irresponsible and is causing great harm to this innocent parrot. Please save this precious bird from these cruel conditions fast.

He is deliberately thumbing his nose at the law because it is doing nothing to protect this poor bird. Authorities need to TAKE THAT MACAW AWAY FROM HIM and find a parrot sanctuary.
You also need to forbid him from owning birds ever again.

Re-homing, educating about proper housing and care, preventing cruelty or neglect - everything about rescue becomes exponentially harder when people begin to see rabbits as disposable commodities instead of as pets worthy of protection. These baby rabbit sales at Rural King do not model high quality care for rabbits or informed decision making before bringing a rabbit home. Instead of selling animals, pet stores like Rural King can and should pivot to make money by selling high quality feed, supplies, toys, and even choosing to partner with rescue groups or local veterinary clinics to offer services such as adoptions, nail trims, or grooming. Please consider supporting our pet rabbit community instead of flooding our community with the burden of too many rabbits. Thank you.
