Animal protections are a crucial issue worldwide, with petitions covering a range of topics from ending animal cruelty to promoting conservation efforts. Recent trends show an increasing focus on banning animal testing in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, as well as advocating for the protection of endangered species. One notable petition calls for stronger penalties for animal abusers, highlighting the need for stricter enforcement of animal protection laws. Another petition with thousands of signatures aims to end the use of animals in circuses, pointing out the unethical treatment and exploitation of these animals for entertainment purposes. Join the movement to support animal rights by exploring and signing petitions that align with your values and help create a safer and more compassionate world for all living beings.
My wife and I, along with our dog, were attack by two dogs from a house one block off the trolly track trail. My wife was knocked to the ground and bit in the face. I suffered multiple bites on my hands and arms while pulling the dogs off my wife then off our dogs. We almost lost our dog after 5 broken ribs, a punctured lung and torn up abdomen. No response from Kansas City Pet Project for almost 5 days. Dogs never picked up or checked out for vaccines info. No contact with the owners.
I'm signing this petition because I believe that animals deserve to be treated with dignity and not hurt, starved, or abused. They deserve to be with loving, nurturing owners.
My fiancé was bit by a dog that KCPP refused to take. And you guessed it - the dog was a Pitbull. Behavior exhibited by a company which is what KCPP is - can actually be summed up in one word, EMBARRASSING. what happens when the dog that bit my Fiancé goes through another fence and mauls a child unassuming in its own backyard? Will KCPP take that dog and euthanize or will they take it upon themselves to be “saviors” and try and rehabilitate it? You know the answer and it’s the latter.
Although I m an Olathe resident , the women & men who support these animal causes in a volunteer aspect on BOTH Sides of the state line are extremely exhausted . They are true hero's & Sheros .The depth to which they ( volunteers) pour energy into these 4 legged friends is truly impressive , awe inspiring & selfless . 🏅.I will continue to drop of $15 & $20 donations when I am near . A list of these well deserving shelters would be great .I try to share a little to each of the pet sanctuarie as I possibly can 🌹👼
Update: In retaliation, Jeff Brower has decided to zone 107 hectares of land in Daytona, Deland, Port Orange and Ormond Beach for high density residential building. Enough is enough, I'm tired of waiting in traffic for an hour just to get home from work. I'm tired of apartment buildings popping up everywhere wetlands used to be. I'm tired of seeing wildlife being displaced and ending up as roadkill. At what point do these politicians decide that they've made enough money? Jeff Brower doesn't care about the people or wildlife of Volusia. Recall the election of Jeff Brower!
As a life long resident of Volusia County (Holly Hill) it bothers me so much regarding all this development. I remember what was once woods, cow, pastors, etc is now a mall, auto mall, bucees, apartments, etc.
Let’s please do what we can to put an end to all this.
Everywhere u drive, the trees are vanishing..our infrastructure, medical, etc cannot handle the load..my daughter is an n p in volusia county n She is OVERWHELMED
