I have adopted 3 bunnies from BunnyLu. All of them were extremely well taking care of there. The rescue is clean, and you can tell a lot of time is put into taking proper care of all the bunnies. Without this rescue I can't imagine where rabbits would go when they needed to be taken in. Most shelters don't take small or exotic animals in this area of Virginia. All 3 of my bunnies were well behind litter trained and used to weekly grooming/nail trims. You wouldn't well adjust rabbits in a shelter setting or from most breeders. She is doing great things for these bunnies. Devi, Vega (both pictured in petition picture...lol) and Bennie say thanks for saving our lives!

I have adopted bunnies from Bunny Lu. Mary Ellen is the best bunny rescue mom that treats every bunny as their own. Please don't close down Bunny Lu! Bunnies are the most abandoned pet in the country and Bunny Lu is there for them. So again PLease Do Not Close Down Bunny Lu.

I’ve been to this shelter numerous of times supporting Bunny Lu and its rabbits. This is one of the only safe havens for abandoned rabbits..! This place has to remain intact in order for these rabbits to survive!!

I volunteered at bunny Lu for almost a year after my rabbit passed. The owner of the rescue was there for me when a vet couldn’t be and helped me tend to my rabbit when he wasn’t feeling the best. Without a connection so close to home I’m sure he would have passed long before it was his time. I decided to show my appreciation by helping the rescue out with my time and it was healing seeing how the rescue helped so many other rabbits and helped loving rabbits get to safe loving homes !
