Her family deserves to know the truth. It does not make sense how the forensic evidence has been ignored. An investigation is called for.

The fact that her family is doing so much more work to bring her justice than anyone else responsible is deeply disturbing. Ellen deserves a real investigation and for her murderer to be brought to justice. Please stop letting this family, and the rest of us, down and do what anyone of us would expect in their position. Remember, no one is exempt from falling victim to crime. It can happen to any of us, and one day you too could find yourself in their position or Ellen's. Do the right thing before it's you that ends up on the receiving end of what this loving family has been going through for years now.
