#StimulUS: Donate (Some or All of) Your Stimulus Check to those who Need it Most

The Issue

Here's an idea: Donate your stimulus check - Washington Examiner

In the next couple months, the U.S. government plans to direct deposit $1,200 into bank accounts for people who earn less than $75,000 as an individual, $112,500 as the head of household or $150,000 if you are married and filing jointly. Some of us will receive this check, even if we do not really need it.

But there are people who desperately need more than the $1,200 they will receive. That is where you and I come in. We can help by donating some or all of our stimulus check.

On this sheet you can put your name, how much you plan to donate, and to which charity (all are optional disclosures). Once you do so, you’ll be able to share this decision with your friends on social media. Everyone loves a good hashtag, so we created #StimulUS, describing what this whole crusade is about—us as a human race.
