Stop Parks and Councils Punishing Dogs and Their Owners. Covid 19 has allowed Organisations, Councils and Parks to bring in vast tranches of wide-reaching rules. Many are aimed at Dog Owners and the Dogs themselves. Bushy and Richmond Park are just one of many thousands of attacks on our liberty and rights to use these facilities. they are also affecting many businesses that are in and around these parks. Small parks around these enormous parks are like Picadilly circus in rush hour, as people desperately try to exercise their dogs. The opposite of what the Government wants us to do which is to keep our distance.

To insist dogs must be walked only on leads shows a woeful ignorance of dogs mental health requirements. These actions will create physical and mental stress on dogs that are used to freedom to play and explore. which includes meeting and greeting other dogs and proper off lead exercise. New puppies will never get the socialisation they need and will not learn and understand recall and how to play if they cannot have an element of freedom in places like Bushy and Richmond Parks and in open spaces around the country. These Royal Parks are crown property not the plaything of unelected quangos. Please sign my petition to curb these ill thoughts out and frankly dangerous and in many cases petty rules.
