Help the developers! Right now, developers are struggling (myself included for SlimKat and OmniROM) to build beautiful software for the Xiaomi Mi3 because they refuse to release the source code! I need your help to change to that!

One of the most popular manufacturers in the world, Xiaomi is a chinese based company that makes premium hardware for an affordable price. Though they have elegant hardware, their software isn't for everyone. The beauty of Android is the endless amount of options you are given. This, however, is weakened by the lack of source code. Help us help you, as many Android power users buy devices specificially for their developer communities.  

To Xiaomi: you release the source code, you get more developers. If you get more developers, you get a big developer community. If you get a big developer community, more people would want your phone. More phones == more money. Simple as that. By GPL law, you also have to release the source code due to your linux kernel, so do us all a favor and please just release it!

Android was built to be an open-sourced software. GPL law states that anyone who modifies GPL licenced code (linux kernel) must make available te source used to compile it. This is to improve code and to ensure user safety
