We want ''GRACE OF MONACO'' will be released this year!:

The Issue

We want GRACE OF MONACO to be released this year (2013).

Grace of Monaco is supposed to be Nicole Kidman's upcoming movie. It's not a real biopic but it focuses on a period of the life of the legendary Grace Kelly, concerning the crisis of her marriage and her identity as the princess of Monaco. Harvey Weinstein bought the rights for the US distribution. Since the movie was slated to be released at the end of November, it generated speculation on Kidman's nomination in the Best Actress category.
Yesterday, the film release date has been suddenly pushed back to spring 2014. This just means: officially out of the running for this year's Oscars race.
We really care this project, especially after the inexplicable snub, last year, for Nicole's incredible performance in The Paperboy. We do believe that she deserves a place in this forthcoming awards season. Despite the prestige, we are aware of the fact the Oscar is not the greatest deal...but asking the movie to be released in 2013 we just want its leading to have the chance to take part of this Academy Award race. After all, the movie is almost completed, considering that European distributors are going to release the move this Fall ! There is really no excuse for Harvey. Save the movie, save Nicole Kidman's third Best Actress nomination and save our great expectations.
