The Oshawa Municipal Airport has had a mutually respectful relationship with the citizens of Oshawa for many years. Now the Airport wants to jeopardize this relationship and violate their "good neighbour policy" by expanding their main runway by an additional 1,000 feet ever closer to families, schools, senior centres and the Oshawa Creek - and all for uncertain economic gain.

A position of opposition to this planned expansion must be made until all impacts, such as environmental, health and safety are fairly and appropriately addressed, documented and acted upon. This has not been the case thus far.
