Healthy fish populations are strong indicators of a healthy ocean. Coastal economies rely on a healthy ocean and coastal resources for their livelihood.

Thanks to the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, for the past 10 years we’ve seen unprecedented successes in putting an end to overfishing and rebuilding dozens of fish populations off our coasts.

But now  the progress we and other ocean advocates have worked so hard to accomplish is at risk of being drastically reversed. Members of Congress are trying to end these successes and put our nation’s fish populations in jeopardy. We can’t let this happen! We’re urging Congress to stop cuts for this important law and continue to help maintain our ocean’s environmental and economic health, and we need your help.
