We the alumni, students, family and friends of Eastern University are requesting that President Robert G. Duffett rescind his request to be allowed to discriminate against LGBT individuals.  While we recognize the variety of beliefs based in Holy Scripture, we believe that a commitment to "Faith, Reason, and Justice" requires that we reject all forms of discrimination, including discrimination based on sexual orientation or sexual identity.
