On June 20, the Factory Theatre Board of Directors (under the leadership of President, Ron Struys) unceremoniously fired Factory's founder, saviour, and Artistic Director of 25 years, without cause. Their decision had nothing to do with art or direction. It had, in fact, everything to do with the board's ego and a power play over their decision to waste almost $1 million of public funds on a renovation that would not be compatible with the future of the building.

Ken has devoted 25 years of his life, money, and mental well-being to promoting the arts in this country. The president of the board is real estate agent.

Who do you think holds the interests of the theatre to heart?
