A recent article by David Jones at Penn Live has lead to repeated media blame unfairly being put on Joe Paterno supporters for coach Bill O'Brien's departure from Penn State University's football program. There simply is no evidence that the majority of Joe Paterno supporters did not support Bill O'Brien as head football coach at Penn State and overwhelming evidence that in fact they did support Mr. O'Brien nearly unanimously.
