Unfair regulation and undue hardships on Old Roseville Clubs and the Boxing Donkey Irish Pub owners and patrons. Who support live arts and provide a mature environment for local patrons.

Most Club owners provide a great service to the live arts and is a humble establishment. The City Attorney is completely unjust in these requests of the Old Roseville Clubs. And we feel as customers and artist that the following requirements put an undue burden on the owners and the artist involved, most definitlely will not agree to being told what to charge and when.

City Attorneys demands as follows:

Our department leaders have worked closely with the City Attorney’s Office to develop conditions relating to the operation of your entertainment establishment that I believe are fair and will enhance the overall safety of the entertainment district. As your permits come up for renewal, the following conditions will apply every Friday and Saturday from 8:00PM until closing:

1. A $5.00 cover will be in effect for all patrons.
2. No In/Out privileges. Once your patron leaves your establishment, he or she must repay the cover charge to regain entry.
3. Each owner or manager must purchase a security wand and ID scanning device. Security staff will wand all patrons for concealed weapons and scan each patron’s ID prior to entry into the establishment. No exceptions.
4. Dress Code for Fridays and Saturdays:
No Hats
No Sports Jerseys
No Leather Vests
