Phillip Etorma: Change.org recently posted the following message: "Hello again! Good news: upon further review, we’re excited to inform you about an easy way to un-sign a petition on Change.org. Simply open the confirmation email you received upon initially signing, scroll down to the bottom, and find the text text, “Didn't sign this petition? Click here.” Click that link, and your signature will be removed. Hope that’s helpful, and thanks again for the feedback! All the best, "Change.org"

Going off the message it appears that the request put forth by our petition has been met. While one cannot unsign petitions before this change was made (for understandable reasons), all forthcoming petitions should be unsignable via a link in confirmation emails as stated in the message. Additionally, if you for any reason cannot access the confirmation emails, Change.org's customer service may be able to help. It was a small change. But many of us are sensible people with strong convictions and perhaps slippery fingers.

It was a significant and appreciated change. Thank you to Change.org for listening to us and implementing this feature. And most importantly thanks to all of you who supported this petition and got the attention of Change.org. A single signature can make a difference, and it this case it appears it has. You did this, and this website is better for it.

Happy signing (and un-signing). :)

This is important because people make mistakes, and campaigns go awry, and some campaigners misrepresent information. When such things happen, people on Change.org should be able to easily rescind their signature, for whatever reason.

This is just a simple request for a simple feature from the people behind Change.org.

Thank you!

I signed a petition by mistake- thinking it meant the opposite of what it meant (it was in Russian) and I feel horrible about this!

I have learned that much of the information causing me to sign the first petition was not accurate. I wish to remove my name and comment from the original petition because due to what I've since learned, I no longer support the cause. In fact I am against it.

I have a different opinion based on new information. My signature on the petition to reinstate Richard Brock does not reflect my opinion with regard to this issue.

I signed the Tom Cleverly petition in an impulse moment and i hugely regret it and now want to withdraw my signature. This because of the way i feel it is a disgrace the way people have treated and bullied him including me. I fully regret my actions and want to withdraw them.
