Residents of Redwood Shores and Belmont Shores support the recommendation by Director of Educational Services, Jennifer Kollmann, that the Belmont Redwood Shores School District (BRSSD) Board of Trustees move to adopt recommendations to increase enrollment caps as set in June 2010 from 3 to 4 kindergarten classes (75 to 100 seats) at Sandpiper Elementary School for the 2013-2014 school year, thus allowing affected Belmont Shores and Redwood Shores incoming kindergarteners to attend their home school.    http://belmont.csbaagendaonline.net/BelmonteAgenda/1598/8986/Files/enrollment_and_assignment.pdf   This petition urges the Board of Trustees to reconsider and reverse its March 21st, 2013 decision to reject the above recommendations.  It is strongly recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt the district's recommendations at its next board meeting on April 18th, 2013.
