The proposed elementary rezoning changes for fall 2013 have been posted and it shows that our Star Creek community will be divided in half. The east side will continue at Cheatham and the west side will go to the new elementary school, Lindsey.

We need all Star Creek voices to be heard. This affects more than the resale values of our homes. It affects our community longer term in not knowing each other as new neighbors move in on both sides.

Allen believes in one community, one high school.  Many of us loved that concept when we chose Allen as the city to raise our family in.  We believe that communities need to stay together - Star Creek is our neighborhood community.

Our sense of belonging and safety of our neighborhood begins in the friends we and our children have developed through the years. It continues in the elementary school they attend every day! This decision changes that!
