ご署名ありがとうございます。　現時点で308筆のご署名を11ケ国にお住まいの皆様方からいただきました。

2026年2月25日、東京地方裁判所は「外国年金に相続税をかけるのは合理性がある」として、原告遺族側の請求を却下し国税庁による課税を支持する判決を下しました。

今後の裁判の行方は分かりませんが、現行の法律下における課税を裁判所が認めた形になっています。　その一方で、税額の計算方法（約4割の方は払った税額分の年金を受け取らずに亡くなる）やその支払い方法（年金を受け取る前に納税しなければならない）で不条理な問題は残されたままです。　税制改正の必要性は一層高まったと言わざるを得ません。　今後もこの署名活動を通して各方面へ訴え続けます。　皆様方におかれましても、この問題に関わる方々へのお知らせや署名勧誘を引き続きお願い申し上げます。

On February 25, 2026, the Tokyo District Court ruled that “imposing inheritance tax on foreign pensions is reasonable,” dismissed the claims of the plaintiffs (the bereaved family), and upheld the taxation by the National Tax Agency.

While the future course of the litigation remains uncertain, the court has effectively authorized taxation under the current law. At the same time, unreasonable problems remain, such as the method of calculating the tax amount (approximately 40% of recipients die without receiving the taxed benefits) and the method of payment (tax must be paid before the pension is received). It must be said that the need for tax reform has become even more pressing.

I will continue to appeal to all relevant parties through this signature campaign. I respectfully ask for your continued support in informing others who may face serious hardship due to this inheritance tax and in encouraging them to sign the petition.
