以前、沖縄に住んでいた者として、地域の平和と安全の必要性を痛感しております。日米中台の各国指導者に対し、軍備の縮小を求める声を上げ、新たな軍拡から生じる国際的な財政破綻の危機を回避しようではありませんか。

歴史を振り返れば、約100年前に世界がワシントン海軍軍縮条約を締結し、軍艦建造競争による財政破綻を未然に防いだ経験があります。一方、今の世界では再び同じように日米中台の4カ国が景気の悪化にもかかわらず、国防費の増額に走っています。

今こそ、歴史が教える知恵を活かし共通の未来のために協力する時です。具体的な提案として以下を挙げます。

1）水上艦の艦船数を制限し、新規建造を10年間凍結します。10年後、状況に応じて再協議していきましょう。
2）さらに、爆撃機や戦闘機の保有数に上限を設けましょう。ただし、救難目的の軍用機を除外します。
3）長距離弾道弾（核弾頭を含む）や長距離砲の保有数と弾薬数を制限します。
4）これらが守られるよう、スイスやオーストリアなどの第三国による監視査察機関を設立します。

A Call for Regional Peace and Fiscal Responsibility: A Proposal for Disarmament

As a former resident of Okinawa, I feel a profound sense of urgency regarding the need for regional peace and security. We must raise our voices to the leaders of Japan, the United States, China, and Taiwan, demanding a reduction in military armaments to avert the looming crisis of international fiscal collapse born from this renewed arms race.

Looking back at history, nearly 100 years ago, the world successfully prevented financial ruin caused by naval competition through the Washington Naval Treaty. Today, however, we see Japan, the US, China, and Taiwan once again rushing to increase defense spending despite worsening economic conditions.

Now is the time to apply the wisdom of history and cooperate for our common future. I propose the following concrete measures:

Limit and Freeze Naval Expansion: Restrict the number of surface vessels and freeze all new construction for a period of 10 years, with a re-evaluation to follow based on the situation at that time.
Cap Aerial Combat Strength: Establish a ceiling on the number of bombers and fighter jets, excluding aircraft used strictly for search and rescue operations.
Restrict Long-Range Weaponry: Impose strict limits on the quantity of long-range ballistic missiles (including nuclear warheads) and artillery pieces, as well as their ammunition stockpiles.
Establish Independent Oversight: Create an international monitoring and inspection agency composed of neutral third-party nations, such as Switzerland or Austria, to ensure compliance.
