The crisis of Thailand's elephants goes on. Lek Chailert, founder of Save Elephant Foundation, has been travelling with one herd back to its indigenous tribe - the Karen tribe - as they have nowhere else to go nw the tourists have disappeared from Thailand - and not likely to come back any time soon.

There is simply no money for food and care for these beautiful animals.

We urge the Thai Government to send financial aid to the region of Northern Thailand to provide food. If the elehoants die of starvation, this could be a catastrophe for tourism once the country opens up again to welcome visitors.

Those of you who wish to donate to buy food can HAVE YOUR DONATION MATCHED through this link

All amounts, no matter how small, are most welcome. And they will be DOUBLED.

THANK YOU so much.

The video link here says it all. Trekking through dusty landscape, for many miles.
