เครื่องซักผ้าฝาหน้าในปัจจุบันออกแบบมาโดยให้ความสำคัญกับการป้องกันน้ำรั่วมากกว่าความปลอดภัยในกรณีฉุกเฉิน ระบบล็อกประตูที่มีอยู่ทำให้ไม่สามารถเปิดฝาได้ทันทีเมื่อเกิดเหตุฉุกเฉิน เช่น เด็กเล็กหรือสัตว์เลี้ยงติดอยู่ภายในเครื่อง การเข้าถึงสายปลดล็อกฉุกเฉินที่ซ่อนอยู่ใต้เครื่องนั้นต้องใช้เวลาและความรู้เฉพาะ ซึ่งในสถานการณ์จริงอาจสายเกินไป

เราเรียกร้องให้องค์กร IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) และมาตรฐานสากลที่เกี่ยวข้องบังคับให้ผู้ผลิตเครื่องซักผ้าทุกรายทั่วโลก ติดตั้งระบบปลดล็อกฉุกเฉินที่มองเห็นได้ชัดเจน เข้าถึงได้ง่าย และสามารถปลดล็อกประตูได้ภายใน 5 วินาที โดยไม่ต้องใช้เครื่องมือใดๆ

ชีวิตของเด็กและสัตว์เลี้ยงมีคุณค่ามากกว่าน้ำที่อาจเลอะพื้น

عنوان العريضة: فرض معايير دولية لأنظمة فتح الطوارئ في غسالات الفتحة الأمامية

تُصمَّم غسالات الفتحة الأمامية الحديثة بإعطاء الأولوية لمنع تسرب المياه على حساب السلامة في حالات الطوارئ. يمنع نظام قفل الباب الحالي فتح الغسالة فوراً عند وقوع حالات طارئة، كانحباس طفل صغير أو حيوان أليف بداخلها. إن الوصول إلى سلك فتح الطوارئ المخفي أسفل الجهاز يستغرق وقتاً ويتطلب معرفة مسبقة، وهو ما قد يكون متأخراً جداً في المواقف الحقيقية.

ندعو هيئة IEC (اللجنة الكهرتقنية الدولية) والمعايير الدولية ذات الصلة إلى إلزام جميع مصنّعي الغسالات حول العالم بتركيب نظام فتح طوارئ واضح وسهل الوصول، يتيح فتح الباب خلال 5 ثوانٍ دون الحاجة إلى أي أدوات.

حياة الأطفال والحيوانات الأليفة أثمن من بضع قطرات ماء على الأرض.

Petition Title: Mandate International Safety Standards for Emergency Door Release on Front-Loading Washing Machines

Modern front-loading washing machines are designed with water leak prevention as the top priority — but this comes at the cost of emergency safety. The current door-locking system prevents immediate access when a child or pet becomes trapped inside. The emergency release cable, hidden beneath the machine, requires time and prior knowledge to locate — time that may not be available in a real emergency.

We call upon the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) and all relevant international standards bodies to mandate that every washing machine manufacturer worldwide install a clearly visible, easily accessible emergency release mechanism capable of unlocking the door within 5 seconds, without the use of any tools.

A child's life or a pet's life is worth more than a wet floor.

Titre de la pétition : Imposer des normes internationales pour les systèmes de déverrouillage d'urgence des lave-linge à hublot

Les lave-linge à hublot modernes sont conçus en donnant la priorité à la prévention des fuites d'eau, au détriment de la sécurité en cas d'urgence. Le système de verrouillage actuel empêche toute ouverture immédiate lorsqu'un enfant ou un animal de compagnie se retrouve coincé à l'intérieur. Le câble de déverrouillage d'urgence, dissimulé sous l'appareil, nécessite du temps et des connaissances préalables pour être localisé — un luxe que l'on n'a pas toujours en situation réelle.

Nous demandons à la CEI (Commission Électrotechnique Internationale) et aux organismes de normalisation internationaux concernés d'imposer à tous les fabricants de lave-linge dans le monde l'installation d'un système de déverrouillage d'urgence clairement visible, facilement accessible, permettant d'ouvrir la porte en moins de 5 secondes, sans aucun outil.

La vie d'un enfant ou d'un animal de compagnie vaut bien plus qu'un sol mouillé.
