The Issue
Recently, a girl Maanvi died a few hours after consuming birthday cake from a fake bakery registered over Zomato.
The question arises - Whose fault was it ?
Should we only hold the bakery owner responsible OR else platforms like Zomato shoyld also be equally held accountable since they register anyone just quickly in lure to make more money.
Should there not be stricter norms, rules that these online platforms must comply AS LAW before anyone can be registered to sell food online.
If it is not zomato to blame then who is to be blamed for girl's death ? Who gave that bakery a FOOD LICENSE despite doing an audit or verification whether or not they serving healthy food made woth authentic ingredients.
This petition is to bring to law all such parties who need to be held accountable for such crimes.
