Given this week is the university harmony week and we are encouraged to “fight racism”, we would like to bring the voice from the student community that we are concerned about the negative impact of Professor Lloyd's statement on the Chinese student and other groups who may be affected by racism and discrimination. We would like to build a safe, respectful, multicultural environment together with our school, therefore, we believe that it is important for MBS/Uni Melb to take strong and decisive action to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
