Around midnight on June 13th, 2023, ZB1 was mobbed while returning to Korea from Jeju Island. Management put minimal effort into protecting ZB1 and was overall extremely unprepared for the mobbing, despite a similar situation occuring only weeks prior during their trip to Kcon, Japan.

This, alongside WAKEONE’s constant improper preparation by which Ricky, a ZB1 member, was unable to fly to Jeju Island with his members due to him being uninformed about passport issues, highlights that there needs to be a reformation in the way ZB1 are managed.

We are not asking for ZB1 to move companies but rather just for the members to be more heavily protected and for WAKEONE to be more conscious of ZB1’s popularity and further number of saesangs in order to avoid such circumstances occuring once more.
