Onision is a YouTube personality, famous for sharing his daily life and opinions with the internet.  Over the past few years, with all of the drama he has tangled with, he has earned both loyal supporters and devoted critics.  This is characteristic for creators, especially those who expose their personal life for all to see.  It is a part of the business.

     I am not asking for YouTube to reprimand Onision based on any of his prior behaviors.  Despite the many "scandals" we may know him for being involved in -- such as rating scantily-clothed photos of potentially underaged girls, attempting to manipulate and publically humiliate his girlfriend, desecrating 1.5 acres of protected wetland, and harassing people with eating disorders and mental disorders -- Onision has clarified that he would like to stop sharing his personal life and opinions online.  Besides, I cannot ask YouTube to punish him for mere allegations.  That would be unfair.  I can only speculate on these scandals, and I cannot claim that any of my speculations are fact.

     But after all this drama, Onision has expressed a desire to abandon his life as a YouTube star.  This is fine.  However, perhaps as a part of this abandonment, Onision is blocking all discussion about him by mass-flagging creators who talk about him in videos.  This is unfair.  These other creators are merely discussing the drama that he has publically shared.  They are not slandering him or harassing him.  Onision has copyright-claimed their videos for using small clips of his footage for commentary purposes.  Using clips of footage for commentary is protected under the Fair Use Doctrine, but YouTube has made an oversight in allowing Onision to block their videos from the world and to collect the money earned by the videos that avoid blockage.  By doing this, Onision is successfully misdirecting others' money into his own wallet while blocking the free speech granted to creators.

       I am asking for YouTube to direct the money back to the creators who earned it rightfully.  I also ask that YouTube reprimand Onision not for his past scandals, but for his attempts to intercept money from others and block free speech out of his own spite.  If YouTube lets Onision get away with this theft and suppression, they will set a precedent for the rest of their creators that they only see to the needs of wealthy and famous personalities.  We will have to migrate to another site that will allow us to express ourselves freely and earn money that is rightfully ours. 

     YouTube, please don't let this act of deceit and hate corrupt your legacy.  Please reprimand Onision for his blatant manipulation of the copyright system and the abuse of his fame and subsequent power.  Thank you.
