The Issue

Who is impacted?

Maywood Park residents have been directly impacted by the fallout of failed leadership. Montross and Hall’s actions eroded public trust, disrupted city processes, and left residents in a state of confusion, frustration, and uncertainty. You deserve better than a return to dysfunction.

What is at stake?

Since the resignations of Montross and Hall, many have felt a renewed sense of connection and hope. At the last council meeting, longtime residents and new voices came together to chart a clear and collaborative path forward. For the first time in a long time, neighbors felt engaged and heard. Reversing these resignations would ignore due process, erase accountability, and drag us back to a climate of fear and dysfunction. The progress over the past two weeks has brought real optimism. Maywood Park deserves to keep moving forward with leadership that builds trust, not chaos.

Why is now the time to act?

A new chapter is unfolding in Maywood Park. The Council has the authority to lead and the community is ready. This moment calls for courage and delay would only set us back. Montross is threatening legal action with no regard for who it harms. Her aim is to block the council from filling vacant seats, drain public resources, and stall the city’s recovery. If failed leadership is reinstated, the community will act. Maywood Park deserves leadership rooted in trust and accountability, not a return to dysfunction.

Your city needs your voice. Help co-create Maywood Park’s future. Please urge the council to let the resignations stand.
